Beloo Mirakhur joined Astex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in April 2022 as Senior Vice President, Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs. She possesses more than 16 years of drug development experience.  Dr. Mirakhur was a practicing physician and medical director for the Hospitalist program at Grand View Hospital, PA. prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry. Her industry experience includes increasingly senior roles with Bristol-Myers Squibb, GSK, Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals, and Amgen.  She has had a successful clinical development track record of developing and gaining regulatory approval for multiple drugs in a variety of disease areas including endocrinology, oncology, and OTC medicines. Dr. Mirakhur received her Ph.D. in immunology & microbiology from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia and completed her medical education at Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia. Dr. Mirakhur is a Board-certified medical physician and surgeon in California and New Jersey.
